For one of my two major second year college projects, I was given the exciting challenge of developing a game from concept to working build in under four weeks. This intense deadline pushed me to innovate and deliver a polished experience. I created a twin-stick shooter that contained local multiplayer capabilities, ensuring that multiple players could jump in on the action. To keep ensure all players could enjoy the game, I designed a dynamic camera system that guarantees all players stay visible at all times. I also introduced enemies that follow a path and attack when players come into view, ramping up the challenge. Each player controls a randomly assigned character, adding variety, and the game features distinct controls for movement and aiming, making the experience both unique and intuitive. To help the project look more appealing, I sourced models from quaternius.com. This project was a thrilling dive into fast-paced game development, where every feature was crafted with the player's experience in mind.
